Android Developer

Developing new features of our Chromium-based web browser using state-of-the-art tools and technologies only a selected few have the privilege to utilise daily

Keeping the browser’s code base up to date with the cutting edge in web standards implementation

Refactoring and continuous improvement of existing code

Participating in code reviews and daily stand-ups

Keeping focus on software quality and quality of delivered code throughout the process

Collaborating with existing Android, design and QA teams

Hands-on experience using Java to develop Android Apps

Working knowledge of C++

Experience as a technical expert on the Android platform and competence with industry-standard libraries

Experience with Chromium code base

Familiarity with third-party libraries integration

Knowledge of UI and Core Architectural Design patterns

Solid experience in writing Unit Tests

Experience with Git in advanced usage scenarios and large code bases

Experience with Python a plus

Fluent English (minimum at B2 level)

Knowledge of agile project management with cross-functional teams, using Jira and Confluence

Ability to work in a team.

Collaborative experience working with UX designers.

Excellent attention to detail and being able to see the bigger picture.

Taking responsibility, making decisions and taking initiative in innovating on features and processes alike
